the plot: Revelations, part four of four.
Peter Parker is drugged and taken to the secret offices of Norman Osborn, the man responsible for the death of his beloved girlfriend Gwen Stacy, and the mastermind behind the madness of Professor Miles Warren. Osborn redons his costume of the Green Goblin and faces his greatest foe at last, while a battered and beaten Ben Reilly tries to save his friends who're being held captive in the Daily Bugle offices during the "party" they were all invited to. Peter's Spider-Man powers begin to emerge again, and he takes on Osborn, but sadly during a last strike against Peter, Ben is mortally wounded and is revealed to have been the clone all along, his last request that Peter tell his unborn child about "her Uncle Ben...". Osborn is dispatched in a pumpkin bomb explosion and appears to have been defeated at last, and Peter receives the stunning news that his and Mary Jane's child died during child birth. Despite all the heartbreak however, Peter and Mary Jane vow to carry on, and look forward to the future.
