Joystick
First appearance: Amazing Scarlet Spider #2

A powerful and skilled assassin with a mysterious past, Joystick first entered Spider-Man's life as a participant in the "Great Game", a tournament held by super-human competitors at the behest of wealthy industrialists. Tracking down the Scarlet Spider, her "hit" in the Great Game, Joystick crossed the Scarlet Spider's path and was only defeated with the timely aid of Phil Urich, the short lived heroic Green Goblin. Unable to claim her quarry, Joystick fled, though the vicious El Toro Negro, whom Joystick had earlier defeated, was fast on her trail.

Some time later, after Ben Reilly, the Scarlet Spider, had assumed the mantle of Spider-Man, industrialist James Johnsmeyer brough the failed Spider-Man clone Kaine out of his regeneration pod and offered him a role in the Great Game. Refusing his offer Kaine escaped from Johnsmeyer's estate with the mysterious Muse, a woman to whom Kaine grew quite close, unaware she was a spy for Johnsmeyer. While Kaine and Muse were on the run, Johnsmeyer sent Joystick, Rhino and Polestar to retrieve Kaine, with poor results.

Joystick did not appear again until the conclusion of the Great Game when Johnsmeyer's plot to eliminate other Game "sponsors" was exposed and Johnsmeyer took the fall for the real mastermind Justin Hammer. Joystick showed signs of affection towards the Ben Reilly Spider-Man, though her interest in heroics was short lived, as she soon entered into the ranks of the twenty-five member Masters of Evil. Like most of her ill-fated teammates, Joystick was defeated, apprehended and sent to prison, where she currently remains.

Powers and Abilities: Joystick has superhuman agility and acrobatic skills, and an arsenal of electrical joysticks released from her wrist qauntlets.
