The Story so far..

Stevie Splendour started off as an actor, but he made the mistake of staring in the 1978 flop called Disco Rocket, then followed a period of minor parts on American film and television. These projects included Convoy and Ironside.

He gave up acting in 1979 after a chance encounter with Mr Stylus Skywalker the 1977 Disco dance champion. He then began a happy period of Dj’ing which led him to meet the Playboy secret agent Bobby Speed. In the final days of 1982 he finally realised that his life, which consisted of Disco, was now empty and began a new life on a Welsh local radio station playing those golden oldies. Here he met the original and most successful Welsh porn star Mr Rock Stairwell, who together with the two ladies he lived with, Satin Soul and Whip Hurley, was running a small night-club in a little town in Wales.

About the same time as the BBC modernised its image and fired stars such as Tony Blackburn and others, Stevie found himself once again unemployed. Together with Rock Stairwell and Stylus Skywalker he then formed a little Dance studio which ran very successfully, until in 1998 Stevie, following an urge, left the studio and moved to Bristol to begin Dj’ing for the boogie wonderland team in club IQ.

It was here he met the famous 1970’s Puerto Rico Porn Star Mr Chico Pantelones and the 'B' movie star Mr Kirk Shatner who were also employed in Bristol. Following the demise of the show he realised that he too could again be the star and called up all the old guys and formed The Groove 70’s show which he now stars in.
