“THE FOUR SENSES 2002”

Born from an idea in 1999, “The Four Senses” concerts, performed for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired by the Aotea Youth Symphony, are now into their second generation.

The Aotea Youth Symphony is a dynamic and talented group of young musicians from across the Auckland area.  They have performed concerts at diverse events and venues from the Auckland Domain “Symphony Under The Stars” to concerts for 100’s of school children, from the High Rises of Tokyo to the Beaches of Waiheke and from the Canadian Rockies to a NZ Main Trunk line Railway Stations.

The 1999 concerts given by the Aotea Youth Symphony were an outstanding success and a frequently heard question afterwards was

“When are there going to be more such events?”

Well, that question is about to be answered –
April 19th, 20th and 21st, 2002.

And they are shaping up to be even bigger and better than 1999!
