Welcome to the Captain's Quarters Bed and Breakfast.
This beautiful home is owned by Marc and Donna Bumstead of Vevay, Indiana. Built in 1838, the majestic Captain's Quarters is
a Greek Revival overlooking the grand Ohio River. It was designed by George Kyle whose wife was related to Edward
Eggleston (Eggleston was a
celebrated novelist and historian in Cincinnati). Nationally recognized as being a part of the Underground
Railroad, the Captain's Quarters’ history is rich and painstakingly
preserved. Each room is tastefully decorated for maximum style and comfort, while giving a glimpse of times long past.
