Summary : : Ronin is the Japanese word used for Samurai without a master. In this case, the Ronin are outcast specialists of every kind, whose services are available to everyone - for money. Several Ronin are hired to form a team to retrieve a suitcase from a man who is about to sell it to the Russians. After they do, the real fun begins.

Review : : Spoiler here for Sean fans who haven't seen this film. When Spence gets kicked off the team one third of the way through the movie, do not, as I did, sit there waiting and waiting for him to a) come back and save the day or b)come back and get revenge. He's gone. Enjoy the rest of the movie and forget about sb for a while. That said: This movie is one big car chase. There is a suitcase which you never find out a damn thing about (and don't think I'm not still miffed about that...I hate movies that leave you miffed) and, apparently, if you want to commit a crime, any crime, and get away with it, you should do it in France, because the French police can't catch anything or anybody. But it is one hell of a car chase.
