Thank you to our wonderful helpers, those who allow us to place signs on their land, lend us fields for camping and car parks. All our exhibitors and traders, the emergency services, all of you who help us in the most amazing ways. Remember that the organisation and running of this rally is by un paid volunteers, your contribution at the gate goes where it should, to the good causes. We enjoy seeing you all enjoying yourselves, we get our reward seeing it all happen. We have also been known to drink a gallon or three (just to help the bar takings!)

Most of all come and enjoy yourselves, even in wet weather the site does not get too muddy, if you get tired of walking around the exhibits you can always sit down and enjoy one of the best views in Northamptonshire, dogs and even children are more than welcome, but please keep them on a lead!

The whole atmosphere is very informal and friendly, although like this web site it does have It's own strange sense of humour. We invite your comments on the rally or the web site, we are always seeking to improve. Complaints are encouraged and answered. This site operates on a non commercial basis, as does the rally. Information on what is on offer at one of the largest Steam, Heavy Horses, steam engines, auction, vintage motorcycles, lorries, military transport, cars, stationary engines, tractors, nostalgia, antiques, bygones, rural crafts, craft fair, country fair, steam fair, entertainment, in the midlands, not just a rally of historic vehicles, more an extravaganza to tickle the taste buds (and wallets) of our visitors

PLAIN &   SIMPLE SITE -- PHOTO'S EXPAND ONLY IF YOU CLICK ON THEM :  I HATE WAITING BEHIND STEAMERS

The Rally was started 18 years ago with the Vicar asking Allen Eaton for a contribution to the church building fund, Allen said no, he would put on a small steam engine rally instead!

So with no site and three steamers the saga started. I personally have fond memories of 3am rally morning sand papering the edges of the hole in the plank over the ditch that served as the ladies toilet! all of us have our rally tales and memories, most of them unprintable!

Now we are a little more organised with proper toilets - even hot showers on site, electricity, and we own the field. We are not perfect, roads for example can get very congested around Hollowell but we do try and learn from our mistakes. So please try and bear with us if we have problems at times, we try our best while keeping expenses down so your contribution at the gate goes to the recipients of the local causes who ask for our financial help.
