THALIA'S BIOGRAPHY .....

Thalia was born in a small city near Mexico City. She is from a rich family  with 5 girls and no-one boy. She had a difficult childhood life. Her father died when she was 5 years old and she thought that she was responsible for his dying. Exactly: her mother took her to the hospital. She saw her father and talked to him and that moment his heart stopped working. She was terrified and from this time since 9 years old when she understood hadn't been talking to anyone. Then her mother did the first step for Thalia's Career. She joined her to a group "Din Din" and they made 5 albums. Later, when Thalia grew up joined to a group of "Timbiriche" which had a very successful career. While being in this group she was playing some little roles in soap operas on TV. Then in 1989 she moved to USA for 1 year and then she returned to Mexico full of energy to make her first solo CD. She was very lucky because she met Alfredo Diaz Ortez and helped her very much with her first , 2nd, 3rd and 4rth project. She joined to Fonovيsa label and the first CD "THALIA" in 1990 sold over 600.000 copies. "Mundo De Cristal" in 1991 and "Love" in 1992 made Thalia #1 in Mexico and in the neighborhood countries but not in America yet. In 1994 played in Mari Mar and made her last CD in Fonovيsa because Alfredo died. Then she moved to EMI and put out "En Extasis" in 1995 and the same year played in Maria La del Barrio which was the most successful Telenovela. In 1997 makes the CD "Amor A La Mexicana" which is the first international , in Europe, Asia, Africa, America and makes a very huge success. It sells more than 2.000.000 copies! The same year sings for Anastasia , a cartoon, and sings in Tagalong on the CD "Nandito Ako"  which is released only in the Philippines where they want Thalia very much. 1998, 1999 Thalia is resting a bit preparing for her new album in 2000 and for a movie and for a Telenovela. The movie released in 1998 and it's "Mambo Cafe" on which play Latin actors and they speak in English. The general scenario is not very good but in Countries where they like Thalia had some copies in the video. 1999 Rosalinda is on Air! The new Telenovela with worldwide success and in America. 2000 and Arrasando . Thalia celebrates 10 years in solo discography and a marriage with Tommy Mottola comes to fill her happiness.  In 2001 it is released a cd-single with the English version of the song "Arrasando" which is "It's my party". It didn't have such success as Arrasando and others songs but the existence was spotted from people. In August 2001 Thalia sings her favorite songs from her albums En Extasis, Amor A La Mexicana and Arrasando in Banda Style. Amor A La Mexicana in Banda is the most successful song. In 2002 Thalia hits again with totally changed sound and full of energy songs. Tْ y Yo is the first single and video clip of the new album "THALIA". Yes as you hear it. "THALIA" in 1990, "THALIA" in 2002. The new "THALIA" has become gold in Mexico with copies over 1.000.000. Well Done Thalia! Recently in September 2002 here 2 sisters Laura Zapata were kidnapped for about 1 month but they were released and they're very well in their health and in their mind. In 2003 Thalia is a big winner. She receives "Premio Del Pueblo" in Premios Awards and she had the best female pop album and she was the singer that people preferred in "Latin Billboard Awards". In 25 February EMI released a collection cd with some of her big successes remixed. Thr (Thalia's hits Remixed) became #1 again in the charts and sold over 250.000 copies. In 29th May 2003 the first English Single is played in American Stations. "I Want You" is #1 in many radios in USA. Thalia's going to conquer the world again this time!
