Kriya Lineage

Lahiri Mahasaya-

(1828-1895) Lahiri Mahasaya was a disciple of the great Mahavatar Babaji, and guru to Swami Sri Yukteswar. He was also a family man to show the world that total seclusion is not what God wants of his children only. Lahiri Mahasaya had tremendous powers, which is documented in the "Biography of a Yogi." Lahiri Mahasaya mission was to teach modern men that Yoga was suitable for all. Striving for balance during working and meditation can be obtained.

Mahavatar Babaji-

"The Deathless Mahavatar" Babaji is said to have lived for centuries in the Himalayas, bestowing blessings throughout the world. His mission was to help the masters and prophets in carrying out their special messages to the world. In 1861, he initiated Lahiri Mahasaya in the ancient technique of Kriya Yoga. Which had been considered lost for many centuries, when man was stooped in ignorance.

Jesus Christ-

Jesus Christ and Mahavatar Babaji work hand in hand for mans enlightenment.

Bhagavan Krishna-

Bhagavan Krishna is said to have lived in India over three millenniums before the Christian era. "Krishna" is a title bestowed that means "Omniscient Spirit" showing the great unity that he shared with God. Just as Christ was a great meaning for Jesus Christ.

Paramhansa Yogananda-

(1893-1952) The reincarnation of love sent to the west from his master and great gurus of the Kriya Yoga lineage to share the great scientific teachings of Kriya Yoga. Not to only read or learn about God but to experience and realize God within all of us as great love. A great book to read to learn more about this great master is his "Autobiography of a Yogi." This book is currently published in seventeen languages. It has become a spiritual classic.

Swami Sri Yukteswar -

(1855-1936) "Incarnation of Wisdom" The Guru of Paramhansa Yogananda for nearly Ten years training him for his mission to the west and throughout the world to disseminate the science of Kriya Yoga. Sri Yukteswar was a house holder in his early years until his wife died. He showed the great balance in spirit and physical that one can obtain. Sri Yukteswar was the highest disciple of Lahiri Mahasaya.
