They are 2 types of mango.
1. Sweet mango has a dark green skin outside.
2. Sour mango has a light green skin outside.
It will be sweet when it is turning ripe.

Young mango need to peeling the skin and cut into strip and
dipped with mixed sugar, salt and chilli powder or Thai sweet fish sauce .
Ripe mango are served with sweet sticky rice in coconut
cream. It's very popular in Thailand and available from March to
June.
