My name is Pinit Punchuen. I was born in Chaiya Suratthani and spent most of my young age dealing with Suanmokkh, living as an Aramboy with Tan Ajarn Suthon Dhammasarn at Wat Chayaram, being led to walk to Suanmokkh quite often to help about construction, and so on. That was more than 35 years ago.I'm now a teacher at Rajabhat Institue Chandra Kasem in Bangkok. I've been working there since 2517, quite along time wasn't it ? I've been very interested in electronics photography and almost any kinds of technology since those days, composing radio transmitters and receivers etc.but finally I became an English teacher for I graduated with a B.Ed.(English).

As a matter of fact, I never neglected Electronic Technology until now. I did lots of experiments, modifications and inventions for what I called "Fill the Gap Technology",aiming straight forward to AppropriateTechnology. I've found more and more that the world is being harmed and destroyed gradually and continuously. Ofcourse, the main cause is Materialism and Consumerism. I switched from teaching English to Educational Technology after having graduated with M.Ed from Chulalongkorn University. That was about 20 years ago. After teaching about Educational Video Production, Electronics, Utilization of IT.in Education etc. for around 20 years and was well-accepted both among students, in-service teachers and fellow teachers,( I was once named "Good Diamond of Chandrakasem" by a senior editor of Matichon Newspaper.), I decided to teach one of the new 13 General Education courses called "The Truth of Life". It sounds good doesn't it ? I'd like to exchange and share ideas & experiences with anybody.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I was elected to be the leader of the new monks of Suanmokkh in 2531, the time that Tan Santikaro ( web master of http://www.suanmokkh.org/ ) was there also. I still remember the first day of Bindhabat. Unfortunately,I picked up a label and it was the longest route a few kilometers to somewhere in Thachang and was led by Tan Viriyanandho for the whole week. It was partly running and partly walking for Tan Viriryanandho ( a German Monk ) was very tall and fast walking. That was to test my leadership, maybe ?

Finally, please do understand I don't mean to show you any kinds of Ego. All about me mentioned above is just to let you know about my interests and experiences so that we can share something in the future,if possible.
