Once upon a fairy time, in
a kingdom not too far away, there lived
a fairy goddess named Jennifer.
By all means, fairy goddess Jennifer was the most beautiful creature in
the land.. She possessed the most arresting pair of eyes, long and earthy
hair and a smile so captivating it could tame even the wildest horses and
the most stubborn kings.
Yet fairy goddess Jennifer had grown increasingly lonely over the years.
Unlike the other goddesses before her, fairy goddess Jennifer understood
the value of language. She saw it as a gift, an heirloom, something that
had been passed down for many, many generations. If anything, fairy
goddess Jennifer believed that proper use of language in fairy land must
be observed.
And so fairy goddess Jennifer, she summoned the 20 most
powerful wisps in fairy land. She commanded each and every one of them to
search every castle, every library, every tavern, every house, every nook
and cranny of the Internet for articles that had violated the holy code of
law known as BASIC ENGLISH GRAMMAR. Fairy goddess Jennifer would be more
than happy to edit the articles before sending them back to their rightful
owners.
“Each wisp must bring back 10 articles before the sun sets,” said fairy
goddess Jennifer. “But do more than what is expected of you, and I’ll
consider bestowing upon that wisp the title of WOM (Wisp of the Month)”.
So with the help of her loyal wisps, fairy goddess Jennifer did not only
protect the greatest gift of her ancestors, but she also never again spent
a single idle day in her life, and so she lived happily ever after. |
