New York - In the Nationality Hockey League the play-off race has became a little closer this week Detroit winning some important games to move out of last place in the league for the first time this year by passing Vancouver to move into ninth place. The New York Rangers are five points away from clinching a play-off spot. In the Presidants Trophy race as the top team in the reagular season the Rangers are ahead of the Canadiens by two points but New York has played two more games so far this season then Montreal. In the race for the Art Ross Trophy as the leading scorer Zigmund Palffy of the Rangers is in the lead with 43 points while Toronto's Pavel Bure is second place with 36 points who is running out of games if he wants to catch Palffy.
The league starts with the first sim taking place on Sunday. Please have all line-ups and contracts sent in by Sunday at 8:00 AM EST. A week will be simmed on each sim day. Sim days are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday plus have all your line-up changes in by 12:00 PM EST.
