Not much has changed since last year at this time. We're still working month to month, but the bills are now being paid rather consistently (thank you Lord!!). The kids are now being home schooled...three years of being passed on with mostly F's (and a few D's) in the "traditional" schools was enough - too much, actually...their work habits are almost non-existent not only in school, but in pretty mcuh everything they do lately. The home school thing has been a fight most of the year - in June they've only finished the first alf of the year's work (you know, all the stuff they should have had done in January!)

Aside from the fight over school and chores, the kids have made some real positive changes in attitude and in their outlook on life And we're not fighting the impacts of the "thug life" culture that had started creeping into their attitudes, mannerisms and speech patterns. At time they're almost a pleasure to be around!

We're still living in Orlando, Florida and the Summer is just beginning. The weather's been pretty mild the last few weeks, but the heat arrived this past week - low 90's during the day and 70's at night.

Anywho, I'll try to write more later...I was actually looking for an essay I used to have posted here...doesn't seem to be here any more...Aaarrrrgghh!!!
