Tevildo the Sophist's Page o' Text

Well, let's see here. So far I have sections on politics, philosophy, poetry and fiction.

[The above is a lie. All I have so far is a Slayers page, and a transcription of Theodore Kaczynski's "Industrial Society and its Future", also known as the Unabomber Manifesto.]

My goal is to provide translation, transcriptions, and general stuff that might not be available elsewhere. This is an understandably hard task, especially for someone with no funding (like myself), so what I have is rather hit-or-miss. I also have no desire to laboriously scan or type a zillion pages just so you don't have to pay for a book... BUT if it's ridiculously overpriced, hard to find, or has no published translation, then I consider it fair game. For the sake of a well-informed society I'm ignoring most copyright laws... If you're looking for books, try the Electronic Literature Foundation. They've got an amazing library of free stuff. Another great one for Ancient Greek, Roman, and Chinese writers is the Internet Classics Archive (MIT). For books in the public domain, there are The Literature Network and Bibliomania. Sparknotes has begun doing the same thing. Feel free to suggest other things for me to post. My email is Tevtext@yahoo.co.uk.
