This page is about me, Lynn. I'm 38 years old, have 2 children, Tess who's 11 and James who's 18. I live in Invercargill, New Zealand. Invercargill is right down the bottom of the South Island, near Bluff and Stewart Island.
About 7 years ago I had a bad fall, and broke my spine, I can walk a little but any movement causes severe pain.
I brought a computer that was internet worthy in early May 2000 and have found that sitting in a special chair, that I brought from the recycling centre for $5 I can sit for hours at the computer.
Thank's to my isp IHUG.CO.NZ. that gives me unlimited access and a free call to that access point which is at the other end of New Zealand. I often wonder if their unlimited access is as unlimited as use it, about 450 hours last month. lol. But I'm sure that they don't mind.
The computer has been a godsend to me and has given me a life at last, albeit a cyberlife.
I belong to ICQ and when I'm not building these pages I'm talking to people all over the world.
There is a pic of my daughter Tess, and Me. |

I have done almost everything i want to do in life, for 6 years I was a bootlegger and made some good whisky, bourbon, and a yummy sambuca, just ask my real life friend's all of them are raging alcoholic's now, nah not really. lol.
I travelled in Aussie as a teenager, and went back there about 8 years ago and learnt to be a counsellor, in a lovely place in the blue mountains behind Sydney, a place called The Living Water Centre.
I've lived in about 40 area's of New Zealand, mainly in the North Island. I have had friends from all walks of life, and learnt something from each and every one of them.
My favourite book at the moment is Celestine Phrophecy.
I'm not a christian but have my own belief's that are a mixture of many religon's and ideals.
I have had a go at nearly every art and craft that I've come across, my Mother's house is testimony to that. lol.
I come from a family of 4 and my brother's Kevin, Tony and Owen live in different parts of New Zealand.
I'm heading for Australia in 4 weeks and will be living north of Rockhampton.
I have worked in many, many job's over the years. and have often been, in the social work role, either in paided employement or as a volunteer.
I'm a single Mum and don't have a problem with that. I've done my best with my son, James and doing my best with Tess.
Tess is the best kid a mum could ask for, I'm so proud of her, she's the most loving daughter and a very good girl. |
