Exhibition Official Opening
Immigration Museum, Melbourne

Over 200 officially invited guests, representing local Polish organisations, Australian government and institutions, sponsors and contributors to the exhibition, attended the official opening of "Terra Nova - A Land of Milk and Honey", by the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Poland, Dr. George Luk-Kozika.  Dr Luk-Kozika,a child migrant himself having arrived in Australia in 1949, also provided an overview of Polish migration to Australia over the last 50 years.
