  
Despite spirited efforts by residents of Clarke Road, a 26 hectare industrial business park gets the go-ahead by the
Enviroment Court. This permits the development of 25 1ha lots along both sides of
Station Road. Already the lower end of the road is subjected to continual dumping of fill and problem with dust. Building could start as early as December on permitted activities - garden centre/nursery with cafe; fruit and vegetable wholesaler; timber yards, tractor/farm bike dealer; warehouse facilities; rural supplies etc etc
