Some Chile Photos

After a short stay in Santiago we flew to Puerto Montt (about 3/4 down the coast). We rented a car and stayed at 2 cabins. It is called The Lakes District due to its many large lakes. But you can also call it The Volcano District.
Flying from Santiago to Puerto Montt, we saw many mountains and volcanos. We visited the left one. Note the smoke coming out.

A beautiful village overlooking the two local volcanos.

Near our first condo, we could see the smoke coming out nearly continuously.

A sharp peak at another nice lake.

Our second cabin had a beach, a view of the lake and Volcan Osorno from the big living room window.
Our first cabin was great. New, wooden, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, nice bathroom, quiet, a deck, TV. Wine was $3 a bottle. It was on top of a small hill with a view of a big lake and a huge volcano. It was 9,000 feet up, covered in glaciers and smoke was coming out of it. At night the smoke was orange - lit up from the fire in the crater. And it was only $25 a night.
The famous scenes of Patagonia.

Looking at it from a distance.

Thin ridges and needles in the back.

Nice reflection.
