It's My Life @ Walk of life...

I often think about the world    In which I live today, of animals and plants
And nature's gifts set on display. But the most amazing thing that I've seen in my time
Are all the different people. And all their different minds. And different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain... Not one's exactly the same

one of THE camps i truly enjoyed.. perhaps it got to do with it being one of the first out of school camp i had during my secondary days and being able to interact with all the big jie jie and ge ges of different schools, college as well as the NTU undergrads truly was an eye opener for a mountain tortoise like me back then. Physically demanding and mentally challenging.. i learnt a lot of things from this camp ( hmmm.. of course abit of Chinese culture and heritage) and more importantly, i befriended a bunch of equally energetic, cheerful and playful people. Despite the age gaps and all, we stick through thick and thin during the camp and deserving, won the BEST GROUP award at the end of a memorable 7 days camp at NTU Hall of Residence 7. A teary farewell on the last day of the camp. Finale with lots of tears and unwillingness...Perhaps, this experience marked the reason why i decide to choose NTU as my institution for education... but sadly, i am not staying in Hall of Residence 7 for that matter now... in fact, i only knew that Hall 7 is the block months after i enter NTU.

Outward Bound Singapore- OBS: I went for this camp during my secondary days with the Student Counsellors. Being assigned to different groups and grouped with students for East Payoh Secondary makes this camp of mine an interesting yet funny one when it was meant to be a leadership training camp. Undeniably, we were made to go through all the obstacles and work as a unit. But besides the fun under the sun...our group ENG SOON actually open me to a tangle of love webs and entanglements.. haha... it truly fascinate me then how fast chemistry can does its damage in matter of days. Culture shock? generation gap? well... no matter what, it sure is an intellectually stimulating experience both on and off those obstacles.

    YOUTH CHALLENGE 1998

A camp with a purpose - to raise $$ for charity through the works of youth like us. But before we commit ourselves to charitable services, we were put through a camp that allows for interaction and bonding with people from different institutions. Enjoyable and i was really lucky to know a few buddies from there. Oh, did I mention, SM Lee's granddaughter also attended this camp, well; with a bodyguard with her as well.
