Gestiada - Del Rosario Wedding
These pictures were taken last May 31, 2003, at the Gestiada- Del Rosario Nuptials. All photos courtesy of Ariel Javelosa.
One of the , if not the most, exquisite bridal gowns I have ever seen. This gown was perfect. Interlacing top and a fully beaded skirt.
The motif was celadon green. These were the souvenirs for all the guests: a green ceramic box with potpourri.
A few steps away from the church was the reception area. Before the guests entered, they searched for their names on the guest list and their tables on the diagram. Of course, the couple had a special seating assignment.
Dancing lights for this solemn moment.
On each table, a wishcard with the couple's pre-nup picture, was held by a mini-easel stand. On each table, there was a basket of "balut", a Pateros specialty. Pateros is where the groom hails from.
Right after being introduced as the newly weds, during the beginning of the reception, Ivan and Daisy shared their first dance.
This is me with the couple, along with our other friends from Accenture. Pictorials were non-traditional. The guests went up to the couple's table and struck a pose. The couple's table backdrop had a rustic-gold finish and was adorned with assorted flowers.
Daisy and Ivan flashed their pearly whites for one more photo.
