Hi Ya'll,
My name is Adriane and welcome to my Tennessee Homeplace. I live in the Northeast part of Tennessee. Though not everything you find here will be strictly Tennessean or southern, you will find some of the things here that interest me and I hope will entertain you as well.

A trip to New Orleans several years back, changed my musical tastes forever and now I have added Jazz, Blues and Cajun music to my list of Rock, New Age , Alternative, Techno, Classical, and film music! (Gee, maybe I should have told you what types of music I DON'T like!) :)
FANTASTIC FILM COMPOSER ALERT!!!!
One of the best modern classical composers and film score writers is Michael Nyman You really should check out some of his music. He composed the score for The Piano and Carrington as well as others.

I'VE SEEN THAT MOVIE TOO
My mom used to take me and my sister (yes, I was blessed with one of those :p she leeves in Colorado with her husband Jack - Thank God they are miles away from me!) to see wonderful films all the time so I am a HUGE film freak and have a diverse collection! One of my favorite films is The Piano written and directed by New Zealand-born Jane Campion. You've not lived until you've seen Harold and Maude! I also enjoy Woody Allen films and Aussie director Gillian Armstrong's work.

WHAT DOES MS. @ DO WHEN SHE'S NOT ON THE NET?
Probably sleeping (zzzzzzz : o yawn! ) Occasionally I do other things! I collect comics (yes I know, an odd thing for a 'girl' my age to do but hey, I like them! I read mostly old 70's comics. I also like Littlest Pet Shop toys, I call them 'bobble heads', playing with my gameboy and I do read books sometimes! I used to read them a lot...mostly from the horror genre but now I read other types of books such as classic novels, biographies, etc. I really enjoy reading New Zealand writerJanet Frame and a lady from my hometown named Lisa Alther Please check out her books!
