I think that most people would rate this album as among the best of Tull but not very many would make it number one.  The songs are all good and there is quite a variety in style - from the mellow flute of Bouree to the fast paced Nothing is Easy to the light hearted Fat Man.  This was a tough choice.
This is probably the most popular Tull album and the title track is probably the best known Tull song.  This is a serious work.  Most of the lyrics deal with social and religious issues.  This one put Tull on the map.
This was the bridge between "Stand Up" and "Aqualung".  The music changed slightly from the previous works but the lyrics were of a more serious nature.
