| Thanks for stopping by the entrance to Shattered Dreams. The site deals with the lose I had dealing with losing my mother at a young age due to a drunk driver. Many families have their dreams shattered by careless people who will drink and then put themselves in a car thinking that they are ok to drive. The life's that are lost because of such actions. Then shouldn't bars be held more accountable for serving these people so much alcohol and knowing that they are getting into a vehicle after?Not all accidents happen after someone leaves a bar but I am just referring to the ones that are being served by others.
There is also the issues of young teenagers out drinking and driving. When one is hurt or killed by a drunk driver the age of the guilty doesn't matter at all.
You hear story after story about how a drunk driver hurt or killed someone while he or she was already driving on a suspended license. Over and over again they are free to continue to drink and drive. Why are the laws not more stiffer on those? I think it only brings anger to those that have lost someone when they hear that the guilty has been arrested more than once for driving under the influence.
