Lizard was on the run from several X7, and after giving them a good chase, was stunned into unconsciousness. He woke up in a cage which White had thoughtfully provided, and soon was to gain Max as a neighbour.

Although Lizard communicated via clicking noises, the writers were kind enough to provide us with speaking characters to explain Lizard for the viewers. He was designed to fight in the desert: "the skin's designed to retain moisture. Same with the nose. Even has a second eyelid, probably to protect the cornea against sand and grit." Max makes Lizard all homesick while talking about his "nice, sandy barrack" and heat lamps. She makes it up to him by giving him to cockroach she squished in her own cage. A tasty treat, apparently.

After some protest from Alec who had tagged along with the Bag 'Em kids to save Max, Lizard was released as well. A good thing, as Alec and Max weren't watching their backs while disabling the regroup signal with which White was reeling in naive transgenics. Lizard saved them, but ended up getting shot (twice) upon retreat.

Lizard was introduced and killed in Bag 'Em, although some of his brothers made appearances in later episodes.
