Stage One: mania begins. Where laughter is near, tears aren't distant. Fuck, not now. Please not now. There's so many things to do. So much to say. So many things to fuck up if it all fell through. I need my sanity
now.

More fighting, more cop cars, more bladder infections, more disappointments, more homework, more insanity, more stress, more lies, more crying, more ignorance... less money, less tolerance, less patience, less sympathy, less hope, one less person in the house. All you need is love. I think I at least have that... soon it will be the only sure thing.

Absence of Faith is almost a year old; on July 4th to be exact. Recent events in my life have been both exciting and downright disappointing. I went to a concert last Friday; the bands there were: Growing Silence, Calypsus, Dirtbred, Kerosene, Linger, Into Eternity and Breach of Trust. Dirtbred and Calypsus especially put on a great show. I added some more Mp3's to the Sound section - so go check out some of the great Saskatchewan talent. I also got a new job. I'm not too proud to say where it is, but here goes - McDonalds. Yay. *waves little flag* Yesterday I went to the Pride Parade here in Regina. It was so much fun. It was a very uplifting and positive experience. I met a lot of really great people and we had some good chats. Hopefully they have it again next year in Regina. In other news, I've decided that I'm not going to Camrose anymore. I'd really like to see Finger Eleven again, but $300 is a lot to pay for one band that I've seen already. Besides, I can't buy tickets at the gate or after July 5th. And I won't have money in time. *sigh* I'm so glad school is over.

Wow, it's been quite awhile. I've been so busy working on my other site that I almost forgot to update my journals on here. So if you don't see an updated journal entry on here, just go to
this page. Half the summer is over and I haven't even started working yet. This is starting to piss me off because I need cash fast. There's concerts I need to see, places I need to go, birthday presents I need to buy... and then there's the exhibition which starts on Monday I think. Christ, I'm not even getting my first pay cheque until it's over. *sigh* I was going to buy tickets for the Tragically Hip today but the tickets are almost $70! What a rip-off. No offence to the Hip, but they're so not worth that much money. If I can recall, their last concert here was only $30. Free concerts are the shit... so far this summer I've seen Wide Mouth Mason twice, David Usher/Moist, Bif Naked, *shudder* Project Wyze and a shitload of other bands all for free. And then I'm seeing Edwin in a couple weeks for free as well. Speaking of music, I've been trying to write yet another song lately; but this time it doesn't sound like country thank god. Talk to you later!!
