In 1987 we purchased our first Labrador from Folklaur Labradors, Reg. Folklaur Rottingdean Fibber, CGC,TDI arrived in our home in June of 1987. When Fibber was 7 months old we felt he needed a companion, so Folklaur Horizon Temptation CGC TDI joined us in April 1988. Tate was our first show dog and this began our friendship with his sire's owner Lorraine Getter of Rainell Labradors. Both Laura and Lorraine have become our friends and mentors who have shared many laughs and many tears with us.
Folklaur Tess of Tempest, CGC joined her half brothers with us in 1990 when we decided we wanted to not only show but also to breed. Tess did not arrive until she was almost 5 months old. Tess became our foundation bitch and all of our breeding dogs descend from Tess. We have 1 daughter out of Tess, Tempest Bonnie Lass. We also have 2 Tess granddaughters Tempest Tea Rose and Tempest Briar Rose.
All of our dogs must have OFA hip certificates, ACVO or CERF eye clearances and OFA cardiac clearances. We breed only 1 to 2 litters per year. All of our dogs live in the house with us and our puppies are very well socialized by Tara's four children. Our puppies are all sold on AKC Limited Registration.
