WHAT'S HAPPENING IN 2004!?!?!?!
Cd's (containing well over 100 pictures) and videos from "just Musicals" are both taking orders now priced £6 each!!! Also 'Double Take' CDs and Videos available.
Forthcoming shows to watch out for include 'Spring into Summer' and
'Around the world in 80 minutes.' Coming soon ...!
Lunches: Over the winter months we are now selling Jacket Potatoes with butter (75p), cheese toasties (75p) and Hot Dogs for 50p. The usual drinks, crisps, confectionary and water are available as always.
A HUGE WELCOME TO LOIS!
Lois is the newest member of our team, who has agreed to share her welath of experiencewith us. Lois has an upto date knowledge of the business, whilst not only teaching but performing a Madonna tribute act as well (sian here - how cool is that?! a madonna tribute!!). She has a completely different style, including rather energetic pop dances! Lois will also be taking street dance, and trust me its worth going along to!
So goodluck to LOIS!
Everyone involved in 'Intense' make a note that from May onwards Intense will be moving to a Sunday. This is because there will be a new group starting on a Monday that will focus on Musical Theatre. So if you fancy being in the new class or in fact joining Intense, we'll bring more news to you nearer May!
I'd just like to say a BIG well done to
everyone who was involved in the half term
workshop - Double Take which was a
tribute to the stars. This was a hard show to do as it was only put on in a week and I got to see all the hard work that went on behind the scenes- so well done to everyone involved. The video will be available soon. Thankyou also to everyone who came to see the show. And well done Lois on her first show at TSS!
Now that we have Lois on board we will be able to start up our extra groups again, as you have just seen with Intense. But here are a few more extra sessions that you may be interested in. All queries regarding the following should be directed to Lee and Ash.
* Street Dancing - An old favourite is restarting but with a new teacher. There has already been a huge demand for these classes to be held, as before on a Tuesday, so why not give it a go!
* Just drama sessions will continue with Bev as long as we have a big enough demand. As yet we are running short of people to put on a full scale show. So if you are interested let us know and watch this space!
** A half term workshop, where you can pay tribute to your POP IDOL! Can you sing like Britney? Do a funky Michael Jackson turn or even just sing a good tune. Then let us know. The week long worksop, will result in a show on the Saturday on which the workshop ends. Think you could do a tribute like Lois? Then go for it!
As a matter of courtesy could people involved in other engagement/courses/lessons or shows, please let Lee know ASAP. The same goes with holidays! It is awkward for staff to organise rehearsals around you if we are not informed. Use the contact details below.
Interested in extra singing lessons? Available for a £10 per half hour slot and also available with two children sharing.
Street dancing is on every Tuesday (5:15pm till 6:15pm) priced £3.50 + L.AM.D.A. course, which lead to a national qualification in speech and drama are still available with Penelope Foster. With two Friday sessions to chose from, either 4:45 till 5:45 or 5:45 till 6:45, what better way is there to gain extra skills.
Fees stand @ £11 per week for the saturday sessions, with a pound deducted to £10 each week if you pay monthly.
Street dancing and Intense also have 50p deducted when paid monthly.
T-shirts, fleeces and vests are available. Please order ASAP before next order goes, or you may end up waiting!!!!
ANY STUDENT WHO FAILS TO INFORM LEE OR ASH OF ANY ABSENSES FOR LONGER THAN THREE WEEKS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE! THIS IS BASIC RESPECT TO INFORM US WHEN YOU ARE NOT THERE SO WE CAN RE-ARRANGE THE PRACTICE!!!!
