Parker is sitting in his chair. It has been several years since his daughter death. He pours himself a glass of wine and sits by the fire. He found some old photos of his late wife Catherine and his daughter. As he goes through them a tear falls down his cheek. Brigette walks in. He quickly wipes the tear as she comes closer to him.

"Honey bunny, are you ready for bed?" she says as she sits down in his lap.

"In a few minutes. Why don't you get the bed ready and I will join you soon?" he tells her.

She gets up and walks off. She turns back and sees him going through the photos again. He picks up a pen and starts writing. She is furious with him. She was going to be his new bride and all he can think about was his dead wife and daughter. She goes up the stairs and waits for him. It isn't long until he joins her.

"Good night." he tells her as he gets in the bed.

She rolls her eyes, "Good night. Thats all I get."

"Oh, I'm sorry." he reaches over and gives her a kiss on the cheek. Then he rolls back over and falls asleep. She lays awake thinking how she can get his dead wife at of his head.

The next morning he is gone before she wakes. He drives over to his daughter's house. He goes in and looks around. He looks down at the envelope he has addressed to her. He slips it back in his pocket and leaves.

He gets to the Centre and finds Brigette waiting for him. "Honey bunny, I have been searching for you. You left early this morning." she says as she walks closer to him.

"I had some business to take care of. I hope I didn't wake you this morning."

"Oh, no. I didn't even hear you leave." she said as she swirled the lollipop in her mouth.

Lyle walks in. "Dad, we have to talk." he says as he looks over at Brigette.

"Will you excuse us?" Mr. Parker tells her. She looks at Lyle and turns to walk out. Lyle watches her leave. "You wanted to talk." Mr. Parker says.

"Uh huh....Oh...dad." Lyle said as he turned back to face his father. "Raines is up to something. He has to be eliminated." He said as he handed him some papers.

Mr. Parker looks them over and says, "Oh, I agree. I take it, you will take care of this." Mr. Parker turns to his son.

"Yes, father." he said. He walked out. Mr. Parker sat down in his chair and remembered when he used to send his daughter out to do his dirty work. "I miss her." he said to himself. He pulled out the envelope and looked at it again. He hasn't seal it yet. He wasn't sure if he wanted to. He hears high hills coming his way. He quickly puts up the letter. Brigette walks back in. She can tell he is not himself.

"Honey bunny, lets go to lunch."

"I will met you there." he tells her. She gets mad and walks off. She runs into Lyle in the hall.

"Brigette." he says as he goes by.

"Lyle, would you like to join me for lunch?" she says smiling.

"I'm busy." he replies.

"Father like son. I guess." she turns around and licks the lollipos in her mouth.

Lyle hearing the remark, says, "Brigette, wait." She turns around and looks at him. "Wait, I might be free after all." he responded. She takes his arm and walks off. Mr. Parker never made it for lunch.

Later in the afternoon Lyle gets up from a bed in the hotel where he and Brigette had lunch.

"Where are you going, Luv?" she asked.

"I have to get back to the office, Luv." he says.

She watches him leave. "No!" she yells. She knew she had been used. She dresses and returns to the office.

She goes into Mr. Parker's office. She yells for him but he doesn't answer. She turns to walk out when something catches her attention. She walks over to the desk and finds an evelope laying there. She picks it up and starts to read it when she is interrupted.

"What are you doing in here?" a man's voice says.

"Honey bunny, I was looking for you." she says as she licks on a lollipop. She quickly drops the letter and turns around.

"I'm here. What do say we call it a day?"

She looks at him and smiles. She takes his arm and walks out.

*********

Raines hears a doorbell. He walks to the front door and opens it. "Yes." he says weezing.

"Mr. Raines, I am here to deliver your oxygen tank replacement." a man in a delivery suit says.

"I didn't call for my replacement yet." he says weezing again.

"You are Mr. Raines?" the man asked.

"Yes."

"Well, you may not have ordered it but it is paid in full." the man says.

"Okay, leave it over there." Raines says pointed to the corner.

The man leaves it. "Sign here." he says before headed out the door.

Raines signed the order form and shows the man out.

Later in the night Raines goes to sleep. Lyle slips in, dressed in black. He switches the tanks and slips out.

*********

The next morning Lyle is waiting for Mr. Parker is his office.

"Lyle." he says as he entered the room.

"Dad." he replies. He walks over to him and whispers, "It is taken care of."

"Good son." he replies. Lyle walks out.

Brigette comes in. "Honey bunny, I had fun last night. What do you say we turn in early tonight?"

"Sure." he says without looking up at her. She could tell he was still bother with his daughter. "I thought Lyle got rid of her." she thinks to herself.

"I will see you later." she says hoping he would say something.

"Okay."

She walks out. She waits for him to leave and returns to his office. She opens the draw, looking for the letter. Unstead she finds a copy of his will. She reads through, smiling. She knows she has him right where she wants him. "Now it's time to rid of the old man." she says to herself. She puts the will up and gets ready to shut the door when she sees the envelope. "Here's my chance." she whispers. She pulls out a tiny bottle and pours the liquid on the sticker part of the envelope. She hears someone coming. She ducks out just in time.

Lyle follows Mr. Parker in. "You will never believe what I just heard." he says to Mr. Parker.

"What?" he asked.

"They fould Raines dead. It seems he died in his sleep."

"Oh, that's to bad." Mr. Parker said.

"Yeah. It is." Lyle says. He walks around his father's office and says, "Well, I have some work to do. Catch you later." He leaves.

Mr. Parker goes over to his desk and pulls out the letter he wrote. He slips it in his pocket and leaves.

"Honey bunny, where are you going?" Brigette asked as she saw him leaving.

"I have some business to take of. I will see you at home soon." he answers.

Mr. Parker drives back to his daughter's house. He goes in. He walks into her bedroom. He looks around. "I have to put it in a safe place." he says to himself. He pulls out furniture from behind walls and opens draws. This one draw he open caught his attention. He goes through it and finds some pictures of Parker with Jarod. Some date back to before she said she had married him. Then he finds one with her mother in it. He hears a noise and puts the back. He licks the envelope and slips it in with the pictures before shuting the draw. He walks around to see if he can find out where the noise is coming from. He doesn't see anyone so he leaves.

He gets home and finds Brigette waiting for him upstairs. He kissing her lips. They turn in for the night.

*********

Brigette wakes in the middle of the night to hear Mr. Parker gasping for air. "Honey bunny, are you all right?" she says.

He sits up in the bed, holding his chest. "I think I am having a heartattack." he whispers.

"I will call for an ambulance." she gets up slowly. She knows he has sealed that envelope. 'It won't be long, now.' she thinks to herself. She calls 911. By the time the ambulance arrives it was too late. He was gone. She begins to cry knowing he was gone.

*********

A couple of days later, Brigette walks into the Centre dressed in black. Lyle walks up to her.

"I can't believe you."

"What?" she asked acting so innocent.

"You killed him."

"I did no such thing." she replies.

"Yes, you did."

"No, it was a heartattack." she replies as she walked off from Lyle. He followed her in Mr. Parker's office.

"Can I help you with something?" she asked when she saw him standing there.

"Don't think you are getting control of the Centre." he replied.

"I think you better check the will, Luv."

"No, I think you better check the will, Luv." he says as he hands it to her. She reads in fine print she had to be married to him before she got control of his assets. She knew she screwed up.

"Damn it!" she yells. She walks over to Lyle and says in a sweet voice, "I could help you."

"Why would I want your help?" he asked.

"Because I am smart and beautiful. I have connection." she whispers in his ear.

"I will think about it." he says and walks away. He leaves her standing there alone.

The End!
