Hosts

John Daly, Arlene Francis and Mark Goodson

Just prior to the demise of What's My Line? in September 1975, ABC aired on May 28th that year a ninety-minute special celebrating 25 years of What's My Line?.

ABC presented it as part of their Wide World of Entertainment late night package that aired at 11:30PM ET weeknights at the time, which also included, among other shows, concerts specials from Dick Clark, reruns of The Movie of the Week, and The Dick Cavett Show.

It only aired clips of the CBS version, and the special was hosted by John Daly (in one of his last television appearances), Arlene Francis, and Mark Goodson.

The special was taped (surprisingly) at NBC. The set consisted of three chairs and a coffee table on a dias covered with red carpeting backed by a blue cyclorama with the What's My Line? logo hanging in front of it.

This special aired only once, and was never rerun, although it still exists as part of the ever growing library at The Museum of Radio & Television in New York.

In a way, that special officialy marked the end of What's My Line?
