LOVESICK FOOL

I'm assuming you know about TalkBack Live. This information is from CNN's Web Site on Susan Rook, CNN Anchor:

"Prior to hosting TalkBack Live, Rook co-anchored CNN's PrimeNews airing 8-9 p.m. and World News airing 10-11 p.m. weeknights with Linden Soles from the network's Atlanta headquarters.

"Rook joined CNN in January 1987 and has anchored various newscasts since that time. During the presidential campaign of 1992, Rook played a pivotal role in the network's coverage. Rook was chosen as one of only three on the panel of journalists that questioned Ross Perot, Bill Clinton and George Bush during the last presidential debate in October 1992.

"One month later, Rook hosted the award-winning CNN special BEYOND THE GLASS CEILING, which examined the invisible but real barriers that keep women from reaching the upper echelons of U.S. corporations. Rook has covered most of the breaking news stories of the last decade.

"Before joining CNN, Rook was an investigative reporter for WVUE-TV in New Orleans, LA, and a reporter for WBBH-TV in Fort Myers, FL.

"Rook was won several awards, including the 1996 George Mason Alumni of the Year Award and received a 1994 CableACE nomination. In 1989 and 1990 Rook received the TV News Woman Achievement Award from the Atlanta chapter of American Women in Radio and Television. Rook was also the recipient of a 1986 Outstanding News Reporter Award from the Police Association of New Orleans and a 1985 Alpha Award for commentary. While in Fort Myers in 1984, Rook was named Outstanding Reporter for Community Services.

"Rook holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Currently, she is attending Emory University studying international relations and working on her doctorate. She is a native of Albuquerque, NM."

This bio doesn't seem to have been updated in a while, so I'm not sure if she has finished her Ph.D. or not. One thing that this bio doesn't mention is that she was apparently married briefly to a CNN executive. The bio also doesn't mention that she has a wonderful sense of humor, and she looks terrific in suits.
