People keep writing to ask how we are and what we think of the "situation" – I don't answer well -- sometimes i'm brief, sometimes i'm curt, sometimes i'm overly detailed about what happens to be bothering me at the moment. I’m sure I’m not satisfying most of their queries. So I’m going to try a general ongoing journal about what it feels like to be in Tel Aviv at this moment. There are some photographs too.
The rules I set up for myself are: no rewriting, no censoring, no rereading. (I've recently discovered that one advantage to no rereading is that i don't scare myself.) So maybe there are gaps and repetitions, but at least I'm honest.
So this isn't terribly objective. For real news check out kol yisrael and the Israeli papers, Israeli Indy news (mostly Hebrew) and/or the Palestinian Indy news which I find incredibly biased in its language, putting the information into question as well. And of course there is Robert Rosenberg's "Ariga" -
