| My name is Kristin Kennedy and I have hydrocephalus. Not exactly your everyday sentence, don't you think? Well, in my world it is. When I was in high school I wanted to find out more about this disease that I had had all of my life, but knew nothing about. All of the sites that came up were either too technical or aimed at just the parents. So I started a website that I named "Teens With Hydrocephalus". Since that day about four years ago, a few support groups have become available. I restarted this website because I felt like it was time for me to start trying to help again. My main purpose for this website is not to give strict definitions of this disease but to let everyone know that they are not alone. That there are others out there, they just don't have a place to share their stories. I renamed it because, I am not a teen anymore, and while I still want a place for them to talk, I also want to provide a place for the adults as well. This site is for people to get together, whether you have hydrocephalus or you know someone who has it, and talk.
