Sola Scriptura. Sola Fide. Sola Gratia. ~The Gospel~
The Lord's Prayer "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you w ill wear. Is not life more important than clothes?"
"Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
~The Law~
~The Epistle~ Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.
God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
"Along this life 'stem' we lead, lies sharp thorns in our midst. Overcome them, travel beyond them and ye shall find thy own beautiful blossom." -Joe S. 2001 -Source Unknown(e-mail forward) One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The
trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a
step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get
out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up!
Shake it off and take a step up! Cause it really ain't that deep!
