The

Teddy Bear Foundation

for Foster Children

The Teddy Bear Foundation for Foster Children is a Massachusetts non-profit organization. The Foundation was established in 1990 to improve the quality of life for children in foster homes and group homes throughout Massachusetts.

One of our most important goals is to prevent children from being abused or neglected. Another goal is to eradicate hatred and prejudice in any form.

Everyday the Teddy Bear Foundation receives requests from social workers and foster parents.

Some of the things we have done over the years have included raising funds for children to participate in community based programs such as Little League, 4-H, scouting, Pop Warner football, soccer, boxing lessons, karate, summer camp programs, hockey, basketball, and skiing lessons.

The Teddy Bear Foundation enables children to learn about many different educational subjects. Some of these include, history, science, art, music, computers, as well as an early emphasis on reading, writing, critical thinking and arithmetic.

The foundation encourager's children to learn as much as they can about themselves, their history, and their environment. Per request we receives tickets and passes to educational facilities.

The Teddy Bear Foundation was created by a former foster child who grew up in

Massachusetts.

This is his inspirational story of triumph over tragedy.
