Parliment Building

Well It looks like you found me, Congratulations!
Do you recognize the picture? If not, it's the Parliment Buildings located in Ottawa Ontario Canada. The relevance you may ask, well it's my home town. Ottawa is the Nation's Capital City of Canada. Ottawa is a very beautiful city, rich in history with many scenic site, lots do do and places to go.
So grab a coffee, put up your feet and I will take you on a tour through some interesting links and other neat stuff.
Looking at the background of this page, you are probably thinking "This guy likely has something to do with computers" Well, you are quite correct! I am an A+ and MCSE Certified Computer Systems Technologist in addition to being a Mechanical Engineering Technologist.
My browser of choice, Netscape 8.0 Preffered operating system Windows XP Professional. Languages, C & C++ HTML & Java. Apps,well just too many to mention but if Corel made it, I have it!
Being in the computer field, I am often asked what my favourite or preffered computer is. Well to be honest, they are the ones I build myself from scratch or a clone. As a technologist, I simply detest Dell & IBM. Just way too many proprietary peripherals for me. My current system uses the AMD Athalon 64 3.8 Ghz with 2.0 GB PC3200 DDR ram, on a Asus A8N-SLI Premium motherboard (one of the best I have seen) 2X 80 gig ATA 133 hard drive ATI X850 PCI-E with 256 mb vram LG DVD/CD Writer and an HP Deskjet 5740 printer (2880 x 720 dpi)is awesome for prints.
I connect to the internet via Travel-Net ADSL and my own Firewall (Sympatico High Speed is over rated)
