I joined the U.S.Navy June 4,1956. I was sent to San Diego Naval Training Center for boot camp. I was discharged May 4, 1960 at the Receiving Station Treasure Island,San Francisco where I had attended Electronics Technician school after boot camp until March of 1957.
I enjoyed my short naval career and met some of the finest people in the world during that time. I have tried to contact as many of my former shipmates as possible. I wish I had more pictures and names of the many sailors that I was stationed with.
