| FYI: This class has been cancelled for the 2004-2005 School Year. I cannot continue to teach a class using technology from the Neolithic Era. My personal quote: "It's like trying to race a Ferrari on a hamster wheel. It's nearly impossible." I have done as much as I can with what we have. It's time to move on. | Emphasis US History 9 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This class is designed to integrate Technology into the United History Class. Students design their own web pages, create authentic historical videos, do Power Points and a wide array of other projects. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The course allows students to explore history by coming to their own conclusions on difficult subjects. They do this by becoming historians. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The technology can be used by students to display their work and to help them in their research. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mr. Borowski uses Constructivism and Technology to teach the class. The 2002-2003 school year was the first year the class was offered. The results were marvelous. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
