Twist of Fate

IN THE MIDDLE

Hey
Don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out or
Looked down on
Just try your best
Try everything you can
and don't you worry what they tell
Themselves when you're away

"It looks like you screwed yourself over again Amy" She told herself as she walked slowly out of the Arena that night. The Hardys where one day closer to Breaking their Tag Team and she was given the Task of not only Choosing which Brother she would stay with, but she also had to Referee the match the Brothers would have this coming Sunday.

The night air was Clinging to her skin as she waited outside the Arena for her Taxi to pull up, She couldn't ride home with either brother that night, She needed time to herself, she didn't want to be in the Middle anymore.

In the Middle, This whole time she was in the Middle, trying to keep them on the same page but in her own right driving them further apart. "Who ever said Jealously is petty?" Amy asked herself angrily as the Backpack she had over her shoulder began to fall off her arm. The bright headlights of the Taxi came into View as Amy took her Backpack in her hand and climbed in.

"The Radiation" She stated coldly, noticing as the driver looked into his rearview Mirror with a Smile on his Face, "Your LiTa from the WWF aren't you?" He asked as he pulled out of the Parking Lot and started slowly down the Highway, "Yes I am" She replied smiling back to him and looking towards the Ground. "My name is Jared, Its a pleasure to meet you" He replied Amy looked into the rearview Mirror getting a glimpse of his Facial Features.

"The feelings is mutual" Amy said smiling again, feeling for the first time that day that someone actually cared. "I saw what happened on Raw tonight" Jared replied stopping at a Red Light and turning back to look at Amy, "Oh you did" She questioned, Smiling inside when she was the warm smile he had. "Yea, Must be weird for you to be in the Middle of the whole thing with the Hardy's" Jared proclaimed, "It's pretty hard" Amy confirmed.

Hey you know they're all the same
You know you're doing better on your own
So don't buy in
Live right now
Just be yourself
It doesn't matter if that's good enough
For someone else

"So what are you going to do?" Jared asked, catching Amy a little of guard although she soon realized what he meant, "Im not sure yet, I guess I'm still thinking of that myself" She asked shyly, Blushing a little she had no idea why she felt herself warming up to a Taxi Driver who she had just met less then Ten Minutes ago.

"Personally, I think you should go on your own" Jared announced sounding almost to sure of himself, "You think?" Amy asked interested in what Jared had to say, "Yea, Its not worth living your life in the Middle of any Situation" Jared replied with a confirming sigh. "So your saying I shouldn't put myself in the Middle of a Problem that's not mine to back with" Amy asked raising an Eyebrow.

"More or Less" He stated as he pulled into the Parking Lot in the Radissin. "Well, there you go" He added as he pulled in front of the main doors. "Thanks" Amy smiled again, watching as he opened his door and went around the Taxi to Open Amy's door. Slowly she stood up and Handed Jared Fifteen Dollars, Which more then covered the Trip and his tip. He smiled to her and walked back to the Driver's seat.

Amy walked into the Hotel and turned around watching Jared pull away, within the Fifteen Minutes she was in that Taxi with him, He shed so much light on her life, Gave her a new hope for her future and advice to heal the past.

It just takes some time
Little girl, you're in the middle of the ride
Everything everything will be just fine
Everything everything will be all right

Do your best
Do everything you can
Don't you worry what their bitter hearts
Are going to say

*Night of Vengance*

Matt Hardy approached Amy, about Twenty minutes before the Match smiling widely he wrapped his Arm around Amy's waist kissing her neck gently. Pulling away from him, she glared at her Boyfriend shaking her head, "It won't get you anywhere, I'm calling it the way I see it" She stated bending to tie her shoes.

"I understand, Well then what's your decision?" Matt replied walking in front of her crossing his arms over his Chest. "Don't worry Matt, I made my Decision, and I will tell the both of you within Good Time" She gave her a Smug Smile and walked out of the Locker Room, Leaving a still confused Matt Hardy.

As she walked down the Hallway, she drifted off into her own world, Thinking of the day's past and of the talk she had with Jared, She smiled again feeling her Decision was best for all. Suddenly a pair of hands wrapped themselves around her sleek waist. "Hey little girl" Jeff smiled as Amy turned to him, "Hey Jeffro" Amy replied.

"Ready for the match?" She asked him as he dumped a bottle of water of his head, "As ready as I'll ever be" He smiled, His boyish grin shinning Brightly through the stern look he tried to give out. "I wish you luck Jeffro" Amy replied running her hand over his cheek. "What's that supposed to mean?" Jeff asked placing his hands on his hips. "You'll see" Amy answered walking towards the Curtain.

*After the Match*

Amy sat in the locker room freshly showered and changed awaiting the Hardy Boy's who were Changing into their Street Clothes. She was nervous about giving them the news of what she would do. She loved them both, just in different ways.

Matt was her Boyfriend, the Love of her life, her soulmate, her life. She would do anything for him and in the same aspect he would do anything for her. Their relationship had grown by leaps and bounds over the last Six Months. Amy could easily picture herself waking up next to him everyday for the rest of her life. She felt complete when she was with him, whether it was in or out of the ring, she felt safe with him. The past Two Months with both Brother's fighting and her own life Changing so rapidly she was barely able to comprehend it all. All she knew was she didn't want to be in the Middle anymore.

And then there was Jeff, Her younger Brother, Her so called soulmate. She loved Jeff like a Brother, she felt like she had known him her entire life, and In the same way felt as if she could wake up next to him everyday of the rest of her life. She didn't love Jeff in a Sexual way, she couldn't it would be like loving her brother. Jeff was a constant companion, shoulder to cry on, and guiding light. It would do her good to stay with Jeff, she would be able to let the world go and act in the heat of the Moment. Then again all she knew was she didn't want to be in the Middle anymore.

"Hey Ames" Jeff said as he walked into the Locker room his hair still damp and pressed down on the pale skin of his face. "Hey Jeffro" She said trying not to smile, she wanted to get this over with, He walked behind her, the heat from his body coming close to her, Enveloping her in a comfort. She hugged him for what felt like hours, trying to capture every emotion she had and save it. His arms slinked around her waist pulling her closer to him.

The handle to the Door turned to the right as a low creaking sound flowed through out the room, Matt walked in, His hair was pulled back in a Low pony tail with his southern smile worn brightly on his face. "Am I interrupting anything?" He said laughing as Amy and Jeff parted ways and Amy turned to Matt. She was engulfed in a Strong Possessive Hug, she felt like he is claiming her as her Territory as arms closed in around her, He kissed her neck softly receiving a low groan against his cheek. Amy backed away from Matt, as he took a Standing Position next to his Younger Brother.

"Guys" She started looking at the Brothers, Their differences were to Numerous to name but for that moment she felt as if she was walking out on the Single Greatest thing to ever Happen in her Life. The Hardy Brother down home, Generous, sweet, Gentle boys from North Carolina. She had been blessed having even met them, and Now Four years later she was about to walk away from the only thing that made sense in her life.

"Yea Ames" Matt answered his eyes low and clouded over. "I did a lot of thinking over the past couple of days" Amy continued taking a deep breath trying not to look at them, She knew she would break down if she looked in their eyes. "I know that you guys want me to pick who I want to stay with" She said halfheartedly and begin to bit her lip, a Nervous Habit she could never get rid of. She felt Jeff grab her hand and hold it tightly.

"I don't want to be in the Middle of you guys anymore" She finished happy it was over, She looked to them, their faces were Blank, Neither knew what to say. She expected them to walk away and never speak to her again.

She felt another Hand attach onto hers and with a hopeful smile she looked up to Matt take hold of her hand, He smiled and looked to his brother, who inturned gave the same assuring Smile. "Little Girl, You were never in the Middle" Jeff said to her tighten his grip around her hand.

Little girl, you're in the middle of the ride
Everything everything will be just fine
Everything everything will be all right

The End
