Why wait around ?!?We've received some emails from people wondering why they haven't received any promo materials yet. As we've mentioned, the materials haven't all arrived at Arena Rock yet, but we won't be addressing that matter here. Instead, we will ask you: "What are you doing right now when you could be out on the streets ??" Take some initiative whether or not you have promo materials. Why not print up some flyers, and start hitting the streets! If you have a printer, know someone with one, or have access to a Kinko's, why not print up the following file and start hanging flyers in stores, on telephone poles, at bus stops, on campus bulletin boards, in coffee shops... any place where you get permission or feel it's all right to! Some record stores gladly let you hang stuff on your own in designated areas, and sometimes they accept them and hang them up later on their doors or on aisleway shelves. Guitar shop bulletin boards are excellent places for Superdrag flyers Why not try out small flyers?!? Here's a way to print up four little flyers per page! They're small, and they're cute, and they're real easy to carry around. This saves you paper, and they also come in color or black & white. Small color flyers Small black & white flyers 
A small stack of little flyers can go a long way. If you print up a couple of pages of the above flyers, you just have to cut them up and *BAM!* you have a stack of flyers. You can hand them out to people at shows, put them on bulletin boards, post them on bathroom walls or mirrors in bars, hang them on a telephone pole... or just simply drop a couple in the freebie bins at record stores or give them to store managers. Try not to be annoying with them. Instead, try and be creative! The uses are near endless with these cute, little flyers. If you happen to do anything like this, take a pic of your work or you in action, send it to us, and we will post your handiwork! (There just may be Superdrag prizes involved!) We've gotten some email already stating that people have made their own flyers, printed up flyers, (and even stickers) and have already hit skate parks and record stores! So take some initiative! Show us what you've got, see what you can do, and let us know what you've done! |
