Key Largo to Flamingo boating speed record set!

Two new world records for boating were set on September 28, 2000 for the Key Largo, FL to Flamingo Waterway by

Team Key Largo of The Florida Keys

The Key Largo to Flamingo Waterway runs through the shallow waters of Florida Bay, through Crocodile Dragover, Madiera Bay, and the Dump Keys. The course  was run through the center of this wilderness waterway.

Parts of this course traveled through some of the most remote areas of the Everglades National Park Florida Bay Area.
