OFF-FORM FORZA 27/02/05
It was an 'Off Form' outing for Forza Futbal as they manage only a draw with Whirlwind. It all started with communication breakdown from the backline. The four defenders were totally not communicating. As a result, the opponent scored their first goal in the first half eventhough we were controlling the game. In the second half we played our heart out in search for an equalizer. Unfortunately that did not happen as the ball just missed by inches from Azmi's shot in the 5th minute. Then came the other surprise. Whirlwing scored their second goal. Trailing with 2 down, we continue fighting and did not allow the scoreline to dampen our spirit. Finally our persistence paid off. Our Nigerian imports Julius and Jerry placed their name on the score sheets. Thus that gave us a point and we maintain our top position in the leaque. It was the never-said-die spirit that make all the difference. So to all the other teams in the leaque - WATCH OUT - Forza Futbal will never give up no matter how far we were trailing.
