Established in 1997, Team Boycee was born.  Originally formed via the social lifestyle and sporting prowess, led by a group of boys under the name Howard Vivian sixth form (Queens College, Taunton) with the help of some token groupies from elsewhere. Using the skills and sheer fitness gained from 10 years intense learning at Queens, the elite of the elite embarked on a journey of rugby dominance - Team Boycee OQ.

The departure of 7 young men (Richard Masters, Ollie Hobden, John Hooper, Darren Henwood and Tim Jones - HV, Roger Lloyd and Simon Hewitt - School Hse) from the West Country school, left a divide in the ranks with all going seperate ways to University and GAP years in Australia. However, the spirit of Boycee was still alive.

Old Boys weekends were then used as a time of reunion, and this led to the growth of Team Boycee, with playing rugby and then getting lashed after.

1998 saw Team Boycee reunited with 2 more of its original members (Colin Mortimore and Geoffrey Bisson), having now just completed their sentance at the school. This brought an increase in laryness and an emphasis on beers and chicks! This continued for 1999 and 2000, with inclusion in the Newton Abbott 7's.

2001 saw Team Boycee grow fast, with the introduction of new kit. Black shirts with Gold sleeves thanks to the Old Queenians Association, and Black and luminous yellow socks thanks to Colin Mortimore's Gran. With the new kit we were able to enter a number of 7's tournaments under the title of Team Boycee, most memorable being Lancaster and Exeter University 7's, reaching the Semi's of the Cup in Lancaster.

2002 has started well, with Team Boycee saying goodbye to 2001 in style with New Years in Cardiff, trashing Tim's love pad in the process- Sorry Tim, hope your flat mate has recovered from the shock! 2002 has also seen the launch of TeamBoycee.com and seen the Church become Team Boycee's new home with Sunday socials, the next being Big Col's 23rd in March.

Plans for 2003 include promoting the website, with hopes to put the website address onto the front of the playing shirts. Also, plans are under way for a tour abroad, with the likes of North Carolina USA, Barcelona orPrague being looked into.
