WELCOME TO THE TEAMALLEN
WEBSITE

These pages are dedicated to our friends and
family around the world
We are avid Land Rover enthusiasts and spend much of our spare time enjoying the great outdoors in either our 1995 Discovery or our  venerable Series III.

Land Rovers are special vehicles and most owners give thier cherished trucks names.  Nobody in the family remembers how the Series III came by the name of  "Nell", but it had something to do with an English farm girl in sensible shoes. In honor of their mother the boys named the Discovery  Sabi Star, a flower that blooms in her native Southern Africa.

In May of 2001 Nell was sold to make way for a 1996 Discovery now proudly owned by Ian, who is currently on active service in the United States Marine Corps.

Our  family is comprised of Tom,  Deb,  Ian (19) and Sean (13).

When not on the road we  live near Atlanta, Georgia.

We  travel often and Central America is a favored stomping ground. In 1997 we  joined our  friends from
Solaros
(the Southern Land Rover Society) for a three week expedition to Belize.

This June and July of 1999  we  returned to Belize accompanied by our good friend Jamie Eisman and a
rag-tag group of young adventurers.

This page includes photos from our  expeditions as well as a collection of photos from some of our other family adventures.

We will make an effort to keep these pages up to date, so check back soon.......

The old Land Rover gave our family a great deal of pleasure.
One of the many structures at Lamini, an ancient Mayan ruin in Belize
Tom with a not so friendly vampire bat
Sean catching termites on a wet stick. We all had a taste of them - sort of minty with a delicate crunch.
This guy is really pissed off at being displayed for the camera
(not to worry - he was released unharmed)
Viper rum (yes, it is a dead fer de lance snake in the bottle) is supposed to have special properties. It taste like moonshine with a dead snake in it.
