Since the Carrollton Campus is
directly involved with the Adult Ed. program in Carroll, Gallatin, Trimble and
Shelby, students obtaining their GED’s are better prepared to enter
post-secondary. We also house a program called JAG (Jobs for America’s
Graduates) helping students to get their GEDS and then enter into post-secondary
education. These programs provide individual instruction. Our library has
expanded services to offer video tapes to students and tutors. Our math faculty
(all adjunct) are encouraging students to study with their peers. Each year the
Carrollton
Campus is increasing developmental classes. We are also partnering with
our local high school (have identified 25 students who will have additional
resources to help theme be college-ready upon graduation if not prior to
graduation).
