Does the college have a career exploration and planning program? If yes, is it proactive?

 

Does JCTC have an advising plan that ensures that first-year students get personal and extended advising (including life/career/and educational planning during the students’ first fifteen hours?

 

Does JCTC have new-student orientation that is not just information dissemination? If yes, does it focus on “best practices” such as increasing social integration and interaction with people?

 

Has JCTC assessed the value and limitations of professional advisors?

Does JCTCS have design and delivery of intensive and extensive professional development programs for advisor training?
