THE FUGERE FAMILY

About eight years ago, I began the trek to map my family tree.  What I thought was going to be a small project has turned into a rather large one that I still have not completed.  I have over 60,000 persons in my family tree, and I'm no where near to finished! My family tree contains the ancestors of the Fugere, Khollman, Fairbanks, and Sessions families.  I can trace the Fugere lineage to Simon Fougere of France [1655].  The Khollman genealogy is a little harder as family lore has it that my great grandfather, Joseph Khollman, came to the US as a stowaway from Germany. After locating other members of the family, I was able to update that line.  The Fairbanks genealogy is a long and well-documented line.  We can trace our lineage to William Fairbank of Yorks[hire], England [1445-1518].  The family owns and operates the oldest standing frame house in the US, built in 1636 in Dedham, MA.  Please email me if you can trace your lineage to the Fairbanks family and are interested in becoming a member of the Fairbanks Family Association. The Sessions lineage can be traced to England as well, to James Sessions of Abingdon [1790-1860].  There is some question as to the accuracy of the Sessions lineage, but until we prove the parentage of William Sessions [1833-1097]to be other than James and Hannah Sessions, we'll stick to them.
