Another summer blockbuster dud! Full of action, characters we could care less about and a storm no more intense than the rain I drove through last week. WORST LINE: Clooney:(to the tidal wave)Come on, you bitch! Clever. The sad thing? Someone made a lot of money from this elementary script that was more suited for television.
WHAT LIES BENEATH IS OLD NEWS
What Lies Beneath is a summary of some of the best horror films but the film fails to hold an identity of its own. It's starts off by giving us a variety of flavors from "Rear Window" as well as Hitchcock's "Psycho" but then it turns into more of a "Friday the 13th". The movie does have a few scares but we've seen this old predictable formula too many times.
