TCIS TRACK AND FIELD

The Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools is made up of 10 private schools in the Hampton Roads area.  Those schools are Catholic High School in Virginia Beach, Cape Henry Colliegiate, Greenbriar Christian Academy, Hampton Roads Academy, Nansmond Suffolk Academy, Norfolk Academy, Norfolk Christian, Norfolk Colliegiate, Peninsula Catholic, and Walsingham.  The schools have graduating classes in a range of about 70-120.  This site will attempt to compile results from past years and keep up to date on the current events of Track in the TCIS.

3 1600m champions on the line, (RtoL)Jill Berger(2000 &2001), Ginna Ellis(2002), and Kate Hixon(2003)

Jennifer Byrd.  In 3 TCIS meets she scored 178 points, 17 first place finishes and 1 second place finish.

4/27/2007 Outlook

Marcus Gregg was the 2001 meet MVP scoring 52 points.

Tim Dutton vs Zach Lampert in the 2000 800.  They had 4 close races at the TCIS meet over 3 yrs with sub 4:40 mile times and this 800 which ended with both right at 2:01-2:02.  Tim came out on top in all but the first, and finished with 5 individual championships and a 4x800 victory.

Past Results and Recaps Meet Records-all races 2003 and before were handtimed, and all times were rounded up to the next tenth of a second(ie 10.61=10.7).  Times 2004 on are Fully Automatic Times. Zach Lampert and Tony Brickhouse in the 2001 1600, Lampert would pull away for the victory and would finish the day with a win in the 800.  Brickhouse finished the day with a win in the 3200 and over the next 2 yrs would win 4 more events.
