To the home of the Twin Cities
Bisexual Organizing Project
Today's date:

We had a great 2008 filled with PRIDE events all around the state! We hosted a booth at Duluth, Fargo/Moorhead, Mankato, Minneapolis, and Rochester PRIDE celebrations.

Booth space, travel expenses, and stocking items to sell all cost money. Prep and attendance at these events alone costs around $1300. We need your help to enable us to continue our outreach efforts in 2009. Please consider making a donation to our group to support us in an event-filled 2009.

BOP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization--all donations are tax deductible. Please mail donations to the address listed below or click the Donate button to pay with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or PayPal. The Bisexual Organizing Project (BOP) is a non-profit, non-sexual, social & service organization dedicated to serving the needs of the Twin Cities bisexual community and providing resources and information to the community at large.  BOP is currently one of the few organizations specifically targeting the bisexual community as a whole.  That said, it should be noted that BOP is not just for people who identify as bisexual.  BOP is home to a wide variety of people whose emotional or sexual attraction is not limited to one gender or is not dependent on gender at all.  Basically, anyone who doesn't fit neatly into the definitions of lesbian, straight, or gay, as well as those who are in the process of exploring their sexuality.  Friends, loved ones, and allies are also welcome, regardless of how they identify, as long as they are willing to be respectful of others in the group.

BOP has sponsored the BECAUSE Bisexual Empowerment Conference, hosts a booth at the Duluth, Fargo/Moorhead, Mankato, Minneapolis, and Rochester PRIDE celebrations, and is part of the Twin Cities PRIDE Picnic in Saint Paul.  In addition, it also hosts monthly events such as Bi's Eat Out (a pay-as-you-go social outing), Bi's Eat In Brunch (an informal forum and potluck), and Chic Chat.

Keep your eye out for updates on BECAUSE 2010 at www.becauseconference.org. Get involved and plan to join us next year! We need volunteers!
We need your help:

Please send your restaurant suggestions for Bi's Eat Out to tcbop1@yahoo.com (Please put BEO Suggestions as the subject).  The location switches off every other month between Minneapolis and Saint Paul, or the nearby suburbs of each city.  This event occurs on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  We hope you can join us!

If you are willing to volunteer to host
Bi's Eat In Brunch, please send us the month that you are available to tcbop1@yahoo.com (Please put BEI Hosting as the subject).  The brunch is held the second Sunday of every month. We hope you will join us!
